Stories You Will Hear

The Man Who Escaped… Then Didn’t

One poor guy in Pompeii actually outran the eruption… only to be taken out by a massive flying stone. You’ll see the actual skeleton. It’s tragic, but also, Roman final-destination-level wild.

Stories You Will Hear

The Original Fast Food Joints

Ever had Roman street food? Pompeii had over 150 snack bars (called thermopolia) serving wine, stew, and… possibly grilled mouse. You’ll walk past one that still has its menu painted on the wall.

Stories You Will Hear

“Beware of Dog” Ancient Edition

Imagine walking into a house and being greeted by a mosaic of a dog with the words Cave Canem. Yep, Romans were posting snarky welcome signs 2,000 years ago.

Reviews

What our Customers Say

The whole tour was incredible from start to finish!

The guides were friendly, the views from the top were breathtaking, and we made some fun stops along the way like enjoying icy lemonade and delicious pizza by the sea. The Pompeii tour at the beginning was fascinating and full of interesting history. While I don’t recall the guides’ names, our driver Luka was outstanding funny, professional, and a great driver.

Pompeii & Sorrento: Small Group Day Trip from Rome

Went beyond our expectations

Pompeii in summer can be hot but the tour guide had this in mind and did stops in shade making sure all of the group is in maximum comfort. Even though pomepii is a huge archeological, the tour itinerary covered most of the highlights of this ancient city.

And the rest of the trip is pure La Dolce vita! The coffee, the lemon slushy the gelato and the star of this Italian… experience the pizza…chef’s kiss!

About the Trip

FAQs

Because it’s like nowhere else on Earth. Pompeii is a real Roman city frozen in time…streets, homes, shops, even food stalls, all preserved by volcanic ash. It’s haunting, fascinating, and totally unforgettable.

It’s the easiest way to pack in ancient history, stunning views, and amazing food, all without the stress of planning it yourself. We handle the logistics, you just show up and enjoy.

We leave Rome bright and early at 7:00 AM and get back around 8:00 PM. It’s a full day, but trust us, you’ll be talking about it for years.

Yes! We cap it at 14 people, so it feels more like a road trip with friends than a big, rushed group tour.

There’s a fair bit of walking in Pompeii (those ancient streets weren’t made for wheels!). Wear comfy shoes and be ready to explore at a relaxed pace.

Nope, lunch is on us! You’ll enjoy a proper pizza meal at one of Sorrento’s best spots, with views that are just as good as the food.

Don’t worry, we stop for a quick coffee break before diving into Pompeii. Italians don’t joke around when it comes to espresso.

Definitely! It’s designed to be fun and comfortable for all ages. Just keep in mind Pompeii has uneven terrain, so a bit of mobility is needed.

Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a fully charged phone for photos. And maybe a light jacket (depending on the season) it can get breezy near the coast.

Yes! You’ll have a friendly, knowledgeable guide (and driver) with you from start to finish, sharing stories, answering questions, and making the day extra special. When we reach Pompeii, the tour will be led by a local archeologist.

The tour runs rain or shine! Pompeii in the mist is kind of magical, and Sorrento looks dreamy in any weather.

No, this group tour is only offered in English. For other languages, we recommend booking the private option.
